Astrea Diary – Day 06:
Today started with a visit to Egas Port, a really nice island with volcanic formations. We walked around the beach and saw a lot of marine iguanas. I took a few pictures of them resting in the water. I also saw a Galapagos hawk and lots of sea lions! There were a lot of pretty Galapagos flowers and cactuses to see!
We then headed to Sullivan Bay. The entrance to this island was nice. On the left side you had a view of Pinnacle Rock (Bartolome Island), and once we arrived in Sullivan Bay you walk through volcanic formations. This was a really interesting place to visit because you learn about how the islands were formed over the many years! Again, we did some snorkeling where we saw colorful fish, lions and rays.
